Hi there I’m Aaron Wood, the founder and CEO here at Grand Tour Transport Limited. Looking back, I’ve always held a fascination with precision engineering and automobiles for as long as I can remember. I owe much of my interest and expertise in this field to my father, having spent countless hours in my teen years alongside him in his workshop, learning all the intricacies of rebuilding and restoring cars; spanning everything from metal work fabrication and paintwork, to full scale engine rebuilds.

At every opportunity, I’d travel up and down the country to visit various Classic Car shows and hold fond memories of weekend trips to Santa Pod Raceway, which always left me in awe – and still does; when time affords a visit!

In later life, I’ve had the pleasure of working alongside a number of fantastic automotive brands and in various roles, to include Porsche AG, Audi, Volkswagen and VAG. Such experience has taught me many valuable lessons and helped hone my personal skillset.

Working both sides of Sales and Service within a demanding field, I truly appreciate the importance of delivering unrivalled customer excellence at each turn, particularly where delivery of vehicles to commercial and private clients is concerned.

I’ve observed the impact and frustration caused by delayed or damaged vehicles to businesses and private clients alike. All too often, vehicle transport service providers fall short due to a lack of, or improper use of, the correct equipment; where relationships with clients are solely viewed as transactional, or ‘just another job’.
